My premier photography exhibit was held at Mojo Burrito, one of my favorite Chattanooga, TN., hangouts. My appreciation goes out to owners Eve and Tim Williams for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. The show was a great success! |

Borders Bookstore and Café (Knoxville, TN.) displayed a collection of my macro-photography for two months. My first “local” show! |
|
Eve and Tim asked me back for another show at Mojo’s. This presentation featured my photographs from my trip to New Zealand. |

My good friend and mentor, Dr. Juergen Schumacher, was responsible for using many of my wildlife photographs for UTCVM’s new Wildlife Animal Fund brochure. The Avian and Zoological Medicine Service at UT College of Vet Med., is the only veterinary facility in east Tennessee that is able to treat native wildlife species. It also happens to be the department that I have been working in for over 3 years as a veterinary assistant. Funds for the care of wildlife brought into the clinic are provided through private donations and revenues from our department. This is an area of medicine that I hope to pursue, so I was more than happy (and flattered) to donate the use of my photos! If you are interested in donating funds, use the link below, and designate your funds to “Wild Animal Medical Treatment” listed under the Small Animal Clinical Sciences category. |

Thanks to Dr. Robert DeNovo, the Department Head of Small Animal Clinical Services at UTCVM, I now have photographs displayed in each of the ten exam rooms used by the UTCVM Small Animal and Exotic Animal Clinic. |
Photographer’s Edge is a company that features a complete line of do-it-yourself greeting cards for photographers. So far, they have published seven of my photographs in their catalog for advertising purposes. So technically…I’m “published”! |

The Chattanooga Nature Center is another one of my favorite places in Chattanooga, and also one of my favorite philanthropic projects. I began volunteering my time and support to the Wildlife Wonderland in May 2003. I no longer have the time to give them, however I continue to sell my photocards in their gift shop and donate a percentage of the profits back to the nature center. |
